INTRODUCTION

Jalan Empat Secondary School was located at Seksyen 4, Bandar Baru Bangi. It was one of the high performance school in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. Sekolah Berprestasi Tinggi or High Performance School is a prestigious title conferred to a group of schools in Malaysia that have ethos, character and a unique identity to excel in all aspects of education. The schools have a tradition of high culture and excellent work with the national human capital and continuing to grow holistically and are competitive in the international arena. The title is given by Malaysian Ministry Of Education.

SCHOOL HISTORY

Jalan Empat Secondary School was opened and became fully operational on January 6, 2003 . Its construction began in 2002 with an area of ​​9.3 acres of school . The name of the school was given by the Education because of its location on Jalan 4/10 , Section 4 Tambahan , Bandar Baru Bangi , Selangor .
There are six main building blocks of Block Seri Putra , Seri poet Block , Block Seri Palma , Block Series Prism , Cafe Seri Bayu , and Agriculture Workshop . There are also a number of special rooms , the academic route and provided school ‘s endowment . The school also received a bus for the school and the facilities for the students to carry out activities outside the classroom .
This school class ” School of Control ” under the approval of the district education office for students taking the UPSR limited to students with the approval of at least 5A or 4A 1B. Status of the school was later changed to the Sekolah Rancangan Khas ( SRK ) began in 2005, which is the only fully Schools Special Plans in the state. Therefore, the school is often in the limelight and is frequented by visitors from outside the country or another state to look for niches and school achievement for example, in Japan in 2005 and in Indonesia in 2010 .
In the early days , the school was only open for one session and the learning begins at 7.30 am to 1.50 pm. But , due to the increase in students , starting in 2008 the school opened its doors to two sessions beginning at 7:30 am until 1:40 pm for students in the morning session (grades 3,4 dan5 ) . Meanwhile , students in the afternoon consisting of forms 1 and 2 will start at 12:15 pm to 6:45 pm. At first , this school only offers Pure Science stream students grades 4 and 5 . However, beginning in 2008 , the flow of Accounts and Technical Drawing was allowed . This school is a regular day school and boarding facilities .
First principle of SMKJE is Datin Ramlah Binti Abdul Rahman who was on duty from May 1, 2003 and retired on June 5, 2007 . Beginning June 16, 2007 , the principal vacancy was filled by Puan Hajah Kamariah Binti Abdul Rahman . In 2009 , Puan Hajah Kamariah was transferred to SMK Dusun Nanding and principal positions are then filled by Puan Hajah Norizan Binti Mohamad . Meanwhile, Puan Hajah Basinah Binti Haji Taib, who is the Senior Assistant 1 in 2007 was promoted to principal of SMK Saujana Impian on 1 September 2007. Now, Mrs. Nurul Aini Binti Abdullah Chan was formerly Senior Assistant Student Affairs ( HEM ) has been appointed as Senior Assistant and Assistant Senior 1 HEM is also filled by Mrs. Jahani Binti Khafi and Mrs. RuzlinaBinti Mohd Yusof remain as Senior Assistant Curriculum . In 2008 , Mrs. Baidzura Binti Su was appointed as Senior Assistant Evening. In 2011 , this position was filled by Mr. Ibrahim bin Muhammad SH . On 1 November 2011 , Tuan Haji Mohamed Sabri bin Safar was appointed to replace Ms. PK HEM . Jahani Kafi moved .
At the beginning, the school has a total of 25 teachers and 143 students only . Now, the number of students and teachers have increased the total of 98 teachers and 1495 students are in school , which is made up of many ethnic groups.
School song titled ‘ Janjiku Di Sini ‘ was created by Azfar Ans in 2003 and the school badge was created by Ahmad Lutfi bin Shakor , a former student at SMKJE . Pledge of students who are often expressed as a formal gathering that schools have been created by the school administrator in 2005 .
In 2006 , the school has begun using a new mission and vision of the Planning Course Konstruksional . As a result of this course , constitute a vision and mission during intention to represent the school that strives to be a successful school and often made ​​a name in Malaysia from time to time .
Much success has been achieved so far. This school excel after having achieved the approval of 100 % and 100 PMR and SPM in 2005,2006,2007,2008 and 2009. In 2005 , the school has managed to gain Prayer Award ( in the Best Building at the district level ) , Five- Star Award for the Selangor State Textbook Loan Scheme and PMR Award category Outstanding Rural Maharashtra . In 2006 , the school has won the Gold Award Program Healthy Unified School district of Islamic Education Examination Quality Award category PMR and SPM School Day Selangor and Musollah Management Quality Award Category National High School . SMKJE also been hailed as the “School of Hope National ‘ level of Selangor 2007. In 2008 , SMKJE continue making its mark on the school ‘s Outstanding School Award category School of Rural Times in 2008 as well, SMKJE award, Excellent Gift Shell Malaysia have been chosen among the five best schools PMR 2007 National Level . The school also awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the State Education Department Punjab for maintaining excellence in SPM 2007 and the appreciation of the district education office of the Selangor State Outstanding School Award 2008. Moreover, SMKJE also have been able to excel in PMR national level with the percentage of 71.5 % received ” straight A ‘s ” in 2009 . Also in 2009 , the elephant was built rails . Rails elephant built for the convenience of students have completed the contribution of Mr. Rahmat Bin Mohd Salimon .
In 2010 , the Prime Minister of Malaysia , Dato ‘Seri Mohd Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak has approved the allocation of Rs 200,000 to make the project a giant roof built in the Square of Excellence. In addition, the cost of construction of the roof was also aided by fundraising Charity Day . A gazebo was constructed . In 2011 , SMKJE was nominated and received the Award for High Performance Schools highest award in the field of education .
Not only excel academically, but also clinched SMKJE a lot of success in the areas of curriculum seperi Runner Soccer Zone , 3rd Place Level Softball District Singles Champion and District Tenpin Bowling Master Johan Basketball Under-15 District Level . The competition was won koakademik successful English lecture Zone and District . Students SMKJE too many to represent the school as the International Conference , joining the Camping and Adventure Curriculum Integration of the district .
